Role Overview We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams across complex engineering projects. The role requires strong command of BIM software, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive quality and coordination across project stages.
Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor modelers, ensuring adherence to best practices, project standards, and timelines.
Identify missing or conflicting information, manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently.
Conduct in‑depth quality control reviews across assigned disciplines.
Influence modeling strategies and ensure seamless collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
Drive cross‑disciplinary coordination and proactively address complex technical challenges.
Minimum Mandatory Requirements
Excellent command of English – both spoken and written. Candidates without this requirement will not be considered.
Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction, including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment, plumbing, pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, and more.
Experience coordinating or clash‑detecting through Navisworks (Revizto considered but Navisworks prioritized), knowledge of BIM coordination, clash report generation, QAQC, and model accuracy.
Mechanical or civil engineering bachelor’s degree (architects considered only with extensive MEP modeling and coordination experience).
Additional Qualifications
+5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for large‑scale MEP projects.
Skilled in QAQC, with the ability to anticipate issues by leveraging team strengths.
Strong understanding of project end‑to‑end scope, kick‑off, requirements, applicable standards, and related technical documentation.
Experience managing project budgets with a focus on cost control.
Experience managing teams of modelers and dealing directly with clients.
Excellent communication skills.
Nice to have: Familiarity with U.S.‑based construction projects.
