LHH is seeking an experienced
Accounts Receivable Manager
to join our client's finance team in Paramus, NJ. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail‑oriented professional with a strong background in accounts receivable, cash application, and collections management. The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee daily operations of the AR function, ensuring accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Oversee daily AR operations including invoice processing, cash application, collections, and dispute resolution.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Develop and maintain AR reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management review.
Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams to optimize cash flow and resolve billing issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Assist with month‑end close and financial reporting as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive AR experience, including supervisory or management experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
