Join Walmart’s Finance team as a Senior Manager Actuary supporting our Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance products. In this role you will lead actuarial analysis, develop pricing models, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive risk management and business growth. What you’ll do
Analyze complex data—loss ratios, claim frequencies, severity—to inform strategic decisions Develop and maintain actuarial models, including catastrophe, regression, and sensitivity analysis Provide actuarial support for product development, pricing, reserving, and scenario planning Collaborate with Claims, Legal, Finance, and Controllership to refine P&C products and ensure compliance Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders in Finance, Risk Management, Tort Legal, and Total Rewards Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to keep products competitive Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders What you bring
Robust knowledge of actuarial methods and experience in P&C insurance products Strong communication skills to explain actuarial results to non‑actuarial audiences ACAS or higher actuarial certification, or progress toward completion of exams Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience with progression toward certification Prior supervisory experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field Base Pay Range
$90,000 – $180,000 per year Benefits
