Base Pay Range
USD 30.00/hr - USD 42.00/hr
Purpose of the Position
Sr. Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the accounting function including GL maintenance, account reconciliations, journal entries and posting of cash receipts.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain all subsidiary ledger (CVUE) transactions impacting Great Plains (full cycle accounting for all Receivables, Deferred, Revenue, Cash and Bad Debt reserves) Collaborate with Controller on the integration of CVUE and Great Plains Monthly bank reconciliations Maintain fixed asset schedules for all companies, including recording depreciation monthly Analyze transactions to identify and correct inaccuracies Maintain general ledger and financial files in accordance with US GAAP Perform GL reconciliations, journal entries and month‑end close activities Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and government reporting as necessary Assist management in providing outside accounting firms with accurate and timely information and assisting in any review or audit issue resolution Identify improvements and efficiencies in accounting and financial reporting procedures Prepare ad‑hoc reporting Consistently deliver an excellent customer service experience, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in interactions with customers, visitors and colleagues Actively follow and promote a safe working environment Perform other duties assigned or deemed appropriate
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or another related field 2+ years of experience in related fields Public Accounting experience Experience with multi‑company entities and inter‑company reconciliations Microsoft Dynamics GP experience
