The
Financial Analyst - Entry
will support the
Loan Operations Team
by performing system maintenance, data updates, and reporting code validation for commercial and consumer loan portfolios. This is a short-term assignment designed to provide critical operational support while employees are on short-term disability. The position offers valuable exposure to
loan booking systems, financial data accuracy, and regulatory processes
within a major U.S. financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and analyze
loan documents
(e.g., credit agreements, promissory notes) for new, renewed, and modified loans. Set up and maintain
customer, facility, and loan data
in loan systems such as IBS (Metavante) or ACBS. Perform quality-control corrections and
system maintenance
for rate changes, payment instructions, and regulatory codes. Research and respond to
internal and client inquiries
related to loan activity. Assist with system reporting code updates and maintenance projects. Partner with team leads and the
Loan Operations Department
to ensure accurate processing and compliance. Support miscellaneous department initiatives as assigned. Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in finance or business a plus). 1-2 years of related
loan servicing or financial operations experience . Strong computer skills and familiarity with
loan management systems
(IBS/Metavante, ACBS, or similar). Ability to interpret financial documents and perform data entry accurately. Nice-to-Have Experience
Prior work in a
banking or financial services
environment. Experience using
ticketing systems
for issue tracking or service requests. Required Skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling Loan documentation review and interpretation Strong organizational and multitasking ability Preferred Skills
Knowledge of commercial or consumer lending workflows Experience with system reporting or maintenance tasks Strong communication and collaboration across teams Additional Skills
Time management and ability to balance competing deadlines Adaptability to a fast-paced environment Professional communication with internal stakeholders Shift / Hours
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 40 hours per week
