Financial Services – Customer Tax Operations and Reporting – Tax Services Analyst (EDGE) Location:

Key Responsibilities As a Tax Services Analyst, you will support client engagements by participating in day‑to‑day interactions with team members and delivering high‑quality tax information reporting. Your tasks will include:

Providing timely, efficient and accurate support for the production of tax information reports (1099/1042‑S/8804), FATCA/CRS reporting, and tax withholding certificate validation (Forms W‑8/W‑9).

Balancing time between multiple projects and responsibilities, working with multiple engagement teams to serve multiple clients.

Ensuring accuracy in tax reporting by reviewing vendor and client systems and analyzing bridged customer data and transaction information.

Managing internal and external communications, including documenting receipt of client authorizations and correspondence essential to the tax compliance process.

Communicating with client tax liaisons, tax compliance teams and stakeholders to gather required information, and obtain instruction or authorization for timely, accurate production.

Supporting billing and collections for tax compliance and related services.

Assisting the engagement team with reconciliation of customer demographic data, transaction data, and tax information returns to achieve complete, accurate and timely filing.

Consistently communicating with supervisors and colleagues for guidance and updates on work status and data corrections.

Qualifications and Attributes for Success

Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field).

1–2 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn other software applications.

Knowledge of 1099/1042‑S reporting systems.

Understanding of tax compliance and information reporting rules.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and written communication skills.

Ability to follow standardized processes and ask clarifying questions.

Prioritization skills to achieve timely delivery of client deliverables.

Commitment to periodic travel (5%–10%).

Ideal Qualifications

Experience in a professional services environment.

Proven record in information reporting and withholding tax laws and concepts.

Experience with tax withholding validation and completion of tax withholding certificates.

Experience with FATCA/CRS reporting templates.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to adapt work style for collaboration with internal and client teams.

Proficiency in trust tax software.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range in all U.S. geographic locations: $58,300–$96,400. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) the range is $70,100–$109,400.
