Your Key Responsibilities

Support the Customer Tax Operations practice with the preparation and delivery of tax information reporting (1099/1042-S/8804), FATCA/CRS reporting, tax withholding certificate validation (Forms W-8/9) and related withholding and reporting reconciliations.

Participate in day‑to‑day interactions with team members supporting client engagements, providing a quality work product and driving delivery of services to meet deadlines.

Analyze bridged customer data and transaction information to identify potential errors and omissions and adjust tax reporting coding to ensure accuracy.

Manage internal and external communications, including requesting and documenting client authorizations, preparing correspondence, and utilizing tax software and Microsoft Office tools.

Support billing and collections for tax compliance and related services.

Assist engagement teams with reconciling customer demographic data, transaction data and tax information returns to achieve complete, accurate and timely filing.

Skills And Attributes for Success

Timely, efficient and accurate support of production of information reporting in a volume‑driven environment within government deadlines.

Balancing time between multiple projects and responsibilities, working with multiple engagement teams.

Understanding of tax withholding certificates (W-8/W-9) and FATCA/CRS forms and required data for accurate tax reporting.

Knowledge of vendor and client systems supporting tax operations.

Ability to analyze data, identify errors, and make decisions to modify tax reporting.

Strong communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field.

1–2 years of experience in tax compliance or information reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn other software.

Working knowledge of 1099/1042-S reporting systems and tax compliance rules.

Ability to work independently and with a team on projects of varying complexity.

Excellent organizational and written communication skills.

Commitment to periodic travel (5–10%).

Preferred Experience

Experience in a professional services environment.

Record in information reporting and withholding tax laws.

Experience with FATCA/CRS reporting templates.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in trust tax software.

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package (base salary range $58,300–$96,400 in the US; higher ranges for NY, WA, CA). Includes medical, dental, pension, 401(k) and paid time off.
