Talent Sourcer & Recruiter / Connecting People to Their Next Career We are seeking a highly qualified HR professional who can combine traditional HR expertise with AI tools, technical proficiency in AI platforms, analytical decision‑making, and change management capabilities. This self‑motivated human resources generalist will support our facilities and contribute to a high‑performing workplace culture.

This role requires comprehensive knowledge across all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and passionate about supporting employees and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Administer day‑to‑day HR operations including employee relations, benefits, and compliance.

Lead recruitment efforts: post job openings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding.

Maintain and update HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce preferred) and support payroll processing.

Conduct new hire orientations, stay interviews, and exit interviews.

Provide guidance on employee complaints, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Support performance management processes including reviews and development plans.

Coordinate health and wellness programs, open enrollment, and benefit communications.

Track and manage employee time off, sick leave, and absences.

Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision‑making.

Organize employee engagement activities and community relations events.

Ensure HR files and records are maintained in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Occasional backup to payroll.

Stay current with HR trends, labor laws, and best practices.

Occasional travel may be required.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Hands‑on experience with enterprise AI platforms.

Strong understanding of labor laws and employment equity regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce preferred).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities.

High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions

90% office based; ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.

10% standing/walking, climbing, bending, twisting, reaching.

Effort/Physical Demands

Constant communication with employees, peers, and managers.

May be required to work outside of normal working hours to meet the needs of production.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, company rules, plant rules, policies, and procedures.

Must use or wear equipment, protective devices, or certain clothing as required by the company.
