Job Summary Lead fiscal control, accounting, and reporting of contracts and grants including pre- and post-award financial analysis. Provide financial administration of a variety of university, state, private, and federal funds. Maintain compliance with award and agreement requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Fiscal analysis, compliance, reporting & management (90%)
Special projects (10%)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
Extensive experience interpreting and applying federal policies and procedures related to research fund pre- and post-award management.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Strong organization and communication skills and customer service focus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with financial systems and research award administration in a large university system.
Experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures related to procurement, travel and entertainment accounting.
Strong writing skills to draft persuasive text for a variety of audiences.
