We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of Cisco-based network infrastructures, Microsoft systems, and security solutions including firewall, NAC, and PMS platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing enterprise‑level infrastructure environments, with strong technical depth across both network operations and security management. You will play a key role in maintaining client environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage Cisco network infrastructures (routing, switching, WAN/LAN, VPN). Deploy, operate, and support Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, including rule management, VPN setup, and security monitoring. Implement, manage, and support Network Access Control (NAC) systems for client environments. Administer and maintain Patch Management Systems (PMS) for operating systems and applications. Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for network and infrastructure incidents. Manage Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and perform system maintenance. Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure AD administration and migration projects. Oversee virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) including performance tuning and backup operations. Conduct security audits, patch management, and compliance assessments. Develop and maintain network and system documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration records. Collaborate with senior engineers and security teams on infrastructure hardening and security policy enforcement. Provide technical support and consulting to clients on infrastructure and network security improvements. Qualifications
Professional experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering, preferably in an MSP or multi-client environment. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills across complex, multi-client environments. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proactive in identifying and resolving performance and security issues. Capable of working independently and mentoring junior engineers. Strong documentation and process‑oriented mindset. Technical Skills
Advanced Cisco configuration (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs). Firewall deployment and management (Cisco ASA, Firepower, FortiGate). NAC (Network Access Control) solution deployment and operation. PMS (Patch Management System) operation, automation, and reporting. Virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and backup management (Veeam, Datto). Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, N‑central, PRTG, etc.). Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python preferred). Certifications
Sonicwall / Fortinet or equivalent firewall certification (Preferred) CompTIA Security+ or similar (a plus) Seniority level
