Executive Recruiter @ Skybridge Luxury & Associates | Executive Chef | Hospitality Professional We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead a premier luxury resort nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. This exclusive property offers a refined alpine experience, blending upscale accommodations with world-class outdoor recreation. The ideal candidate is a seasoned hospitality professional with a proven track record in resort operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of seasonal business cycles.

This is a rare opportunity to helm a high-touch, high-performance team in a destination known for its year-round appeal—from powder-filled winters to vibrant summer adventures. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s operations, ensuring excellence in guest experience, financial performance, and team development, while maintaining strong relationships with ownership and HOA boards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a diverse team across all departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, engineering, and guest services.

Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Oversee seasonal transitions, ensuring seamless operations during peak winter and summer periods, including staffing, service offerings, and guest programming.

Collaborate with HOA boards and residential stakeholders to maintain property standards, address concerns, and foster a sense of community.

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting with a focus on revenue growth and cost control.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety, labor, and environmental standards.

Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Represent the resort in the local community and with tourism partners to enhance brand visibility and drive business.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury resort or hotel management.

Demonstrated success managing seasonal operations and adapting to fluctuating business volumes.

Proven experience working with Homeowners Associations, including board relations, budgeting, and property management.

Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L oversight, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead with empathy and inspire high-performing teams.

Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience expectations.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
