Description Of Work This temporary position is located in Rocky Mount, NC - Nash County.
The position will provide eligibility evaluations for children referred to the NC Infant-Toddler Program. It is needed for children, birth to three, in the catchment area of the Rocky Mount Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA).
Compensation Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $34.35 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
Temporary employees working an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). For more information on health benefits, visit www.shpnc.org.
Temporary Position Considerations There are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees may be eligible for health insurance if working 30+ hours per week.
Management Preferences
Considerable knowledge of a wide range of behavior and psychosocial problems and their diagnosis and treatment.
Considerable knowledge of family and group dynamics and a range of intervention techniques, principles of casework and training.
Considerable knowledge of treatment planning.
Considerable knowledge of governmental and private organizations, resources in the community, laws, regulations, and policies which govern the program.
Thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices, and their application to complex casework, group work, and community problems.
Minimum Education and Experience Master’s degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work. Licensure is required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board. Necessary Special Qualification Requirements: One must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
