Student Assistant, Human Resources Employment

The Student Assistant, Human Resources Employment will work closely with the Human Resources Employment, Classification and Compensation staff on projects to support the Employment and Class & Comp areas. Projects will include the use of Excel and Word, internet searches and maintenance of both electronic and physical files. Must be intermediate level or above user of Excel and Excel functions. Student Assistant, Human Resources Employment will during certain times, in the Human Resources reception area, welcome visitors, answering the phone, and provide basic support needed based on the visitor/caller. Preference will be given to Federal Work Study students. Qualifications

The successful candidate must be a currently enrolled student at USC Upstate and must be able to work a minimum of 2 hours per shift. This position requires the student employee to maintain confidentiality in a professional environment. Exemplary communication, attention to detail, and professionalism is required. Responsibilities and Details

Work schedule would be between 10-15 hours per week. Office hours are: 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. Will schedule hours based on availability and need. Advertised Salary: $10.00/hour Location of Vacancy: USC Upstate, Spartanburg, SC Part/Full Time: Part Time EEO Statement
