Advanced Gynecology , a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a highly organized, professional, and friendly Front Office Coordinator to join our growing women's health practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, always ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere
Answer and route phone calls efficiently and respond to patient inquiries with empathy and accuracy
Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider schedules, and coordinate follow-up visits
Verify insurance, collect copays and balance, and accurately enter patient information into the EMR
Monitor and maintain front desk supplies, patient paperwork, and waiting room cleanliness
Ensure all check-in and check-out processes are completed correctly and timely
Collaborate with medical assistants, billing, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies
Assist in training new front desk team members and serve as a point of contact for front desk support
Will cover team members during vacations or call ins.
Help resolve patient concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate person when needed

Qualifications
1 year of front office experience in a medical setting
Proficiency with EMR systems (Athena a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism
Proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow improvement
