As a Team Leader, you’ll lead a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll be the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives. You’ll also expand your knowledge to serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates. Responsibilities

Provide leadership and development for tax office associates to deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve growth objectives. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns and ensure proper scheduling and resolution of conflicts. Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office associates complete work on time, with attention to quality standards and priorities. Train and coach associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns as required and conduct timely performance reviews; partner with Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns. Qualifications

Prior experience in a customer service or supervisory role; experience in a leadership position managing people preferred. 2+ years as a Tax Professional (if preparing tax returns). Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course where applicable; annual continuing education and ability to meet IRS/state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible work schedule and adaptability to business needs; strong customer-centric mindset. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Benefits and Work Environment
