Position Summary: Our cafe associates help members by preparing food, listening to needs, and providing fast and friendly service. We aim to create a warm and inviting environment that feels like home. Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas as required. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal productions; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to support production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with members in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; assist members with purchasing decisions and inquiries; handle payments and locating merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; inspire and support teamwork and respectful collaboration; help identify and address roadblocks and assist in training others. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; supports Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; sets priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback.
