Base Pay Range $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr
What you'll do
Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, and communicate to develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.
Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, report complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services and work areas, complete required paperwork logs and documentation, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored per company policies.
Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns. Model high‑quality service and products, develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style. Understand roadblocks, support training, and comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.
Apply the Open Door Policy and balance short‑ and long‑term priorities while considering how work impacts the team’s ability to deliver the company’s purpose for all stakeholders.
Lead efforts to create a workplace where diversity is embraced and associates feel seen, supported and connected. Motivate and influence with energy and positivity, mentor others, and recognize contributions.
Maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance, and support Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid state‑issued driver's license.
18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry experience.
Retail experience.
