We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee 2nd shift daily operations in our cable tray manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of production workers to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers involved in the fabrication and assembly of cable trays. Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies. Conduct regular inspections to maintain product quality and compliance with specifications. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and skill development. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues. Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, downtime logs, and inventory usage. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity. Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing or industrial management preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or cable tray production. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control systems. Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Working Conditions
Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Will involve shift work, evenings and some weekends, depending on production needs. Benefits
