Job Description Quality Production Specialist (Quality Assurance Investigations) will provide guidance for reviews and validate product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.

Oversee the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations, and processes; guide the review of production plans.

Apply advanced aerospace design, systems, and integration knowledge to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.

Guide or provide assistance in root cause analysis of nonconformance; verify accuracy of analysis results by consulting with technical authorities.

Establish process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives.

Oversee problem resolution process to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Provide oversight of corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion.

Review and oversee approval of quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.

Direct validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance have been eliminated.

Monitor group performance of verification activity.

Create formal analytical reports and coordinate with responsible parties for internal/external distribution.

Work under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years experience in Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA), Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).

5+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

5+ years experience data mining, analyzing data, and presenting findings.

5+ years experience in a Quality role.

5+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years related work experience or equivalent education and experience.

Experience with RCCA, CAs, Quality Investigations, BPSMs.

Aerospace and Manufacturing experience.

Experience with Quality Management Systems.

Material Review Board (MRB) experience.

Experience presenting and communicating to leadership.

Bachelor's Degree or higher.
