The café associate role involves preparing food, serving members, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. We are looking for strong team players who are committed to serving our members and delivering a warm, friendly experience.

Responsibilities

Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.

Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to inform production, ordering, receiving orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions and resolving issues.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; help identify roadblocks and assist in training.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; apply the Open Door Policy in daily work.

Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; manage priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to successfully complete required trainings and assessments if selected.

Preferred Qualifications: Food Service experience; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
