Manufacturing - Oil & Gas/Energy Business Development Manager US The Business Our client was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from a prestigious UK University and produces some of the most precise and accurate flow control valves in the world. We are an engineering led technology company which has revolutionized valve design with our range of Zero emissions control valves and regulators; these products will transform global fugitive emissions in industries such as oil & gas, gas transmission & distribution, and other process industries. The addressable market for our client’s innovative technology is about a $5bn sector of the global $70bn valve and actuator market. The company has recently secured about $20m in investments from two major strategic organisations to accelerate its growth plans and we are seeking talented individuals to be part of the exciting journey to follow. The Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, Americas, you will be tasked to bring innovative valve technology to the market. Your prime responsibilities will be focused on the development and growth of business and achieving or exceeding assigned targets while serving the target markets within the assigned territory, via channel partners and selling directly to customers. As a Business Development Manager, you will ensure the prompt handling of all partners and customer inquiries and convert them to orders. Responsibilities

Grow and manage sales leads, prospects and opportunity pipeline in the assigned territory to meet the assigned order intake targets. Identify, facilitate appointments and manage new and already appointed Sales Channel Partners i.e. Dealers / distributors / resellers / agents / representatives in the assigned territory Consistent engagement with our channel partners and customers to understand and meet their requirements and expectations. Effectively handle channel partners for them to deliver their commitments for stocks and order intakes. Proactively promote company products and solutions with special focus on Control Valve (ES) product line in the assigned territory, by participating in shows, conferences, events, forums as well as print and digital media. Review customer specifications and prepare and manage quotes / proposals in close cooperation with Technical Sales team for channel partners and customers in accordance with company guidelines. Utilize sales processes and CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage client contacts, and to maintain visibility into the sales pipeline. Provide monthly detailed reporting to senior management on sales performance, pipeline, market dynamics, competitor intelligence, market pricing, and other factors affecting the business. In conjunction with Field Operations, facilitate and provide support for installation and troubleshooting as necessary. Where the technology is unknown, arrange for in-situ performance trials, to achieve customer acceptance. Perform additional duties from time-to-time in accordance with company policy. Comply with safety rules, regulations and OSHA requirements. Required Skills and Experience

Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Fluid Technology or Chemical Engineering or equivalent The ideal candidate has minimum of 10 years of experience in valve, turbomachinery or related technical area Working knowledge of valves and industry standards such as API, ASME, ASTM and other related technical specifications Ability to manage key customers, channel partners and multiple projects simultaneously Good understanding of energy sector – Oil and Gas, Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Refinery, Onshore and Offshore, LNG, Chem-Petrochem, New Energy and Renewables, Circular Economy markets and applications within for valves Proven track record of achieving assigned goals Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and strong work ethics Familiar with Salesforce (CRM) and Microsoft Office products Effective presentation and communication skills Strong planning and organisational skill Other Information

Based in Houston, TX, with visits to our office in the UK when required. Permanent, full-time role. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. Some flexibility on start/finish times. 20 days’ holiday per year plus 10 public holidays (in USA). Company paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA plan with $1,000 annual company contribution, 401k plan with 4% company match (eligible after 3 months of employment, immediate vesting in company match).
