Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; leverages handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions and payments; locates merchandise; and resolves member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the brand, develops and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; identifies roadblocks and assists in training. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in business processes. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; and adapts to change and feedback.
