Full-time Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Collaborates with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educates other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentors new technicians; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications and seasonality; demonstrates knowledge of Point of Sale systems, and in-person selling techniques. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, product information, and training; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Communicates equipment, tools, and supplies needs; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers and processes transactions; maintains inventory accuracy, safety, and compliance; reports issues and completes required documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies; assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Serves as a brand advocate by valuing the members experience; models high-quality service and products; develops, influences, and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner. Adheres to policies and standards: Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; uses the Open Door Policy and related action plans in executing business processes and practices; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and timelines; communicates progress and opportunities for improvement.
