Overview

Quality Assurance Supervisor (A&P) role at Airbus Helicopters in Columbus, MS. Direct and coordinate operational quality functions in line with applicable policies, procedures, regulations and contracts. Oversee inspections to identify opportunities for improvement throughout the inspection cycle of components and aircraft. Responsibilities

Evaluate and report on performance of team members and assign duties as required or directed by management Evaluate the airworthiness of aircraft, repairs, and components Make decisions regarding safety of flight operations Advanced decision making between team members and other departments regarding aircraft status Additional Responsibilities

Supervise inspection of articles, products, or materials manufactured onsite or received from suppliers Manage final inspections to verify conformance to type design Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions, finish and other characteristics Generate Non-conforming reports and ensure proper handling from creation to closure Assist in coordinating offsite maintenance activity and offsite deliveries Provide facility tours to customers as required Lead Auditor on Internal Audit Team and provide escort support during external audits Attend department and company meetings to address quality issues Qualifications

Must have a valid & current Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) Possess a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace/Aviation Management or equivalent experience; or 6 years of quality inspection on aircraft components and systems; or 10 years combined experience as a quality inspector and/or certificated aviation maintenance technician Able to support multiple areas (production, repair, manufacturing, composites, electrical/avionics, etc.) Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines Knowledge of FAA Regulations (14 CFR Parts 21, 43 and 145) and AS9100 Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation Ability to collaborate with external customers about aircraft records presentation at delivery U.S. Person under ITAR definition Preferred Education/Skills

2 years experience as a Lead Inspector 6 years Quality Inspection on Airbus products FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) FCC 2nd Class License, NDI Level II/III, DMIR, CMQ, ITAR knowledge, EASA/UK CAA regulations, SAP proficiency Proficiency in French, German or Spanish Travel

Travel Required: 15% Domestic and International Physical Requirements

Onsite or remote: 100% onsite unless traveling Vision, hearing, speaking requirements for daily work Ability to operate computers and office equipment Carrying, lifting up to 30 lbs/14 kg; standing, walking, and other mobility requirements PPE required on shop floor; steel-toed shoes for shop visits when applicable Company
