Oversees 24/7 operations of plant production. Ensures all required quality and regulatory standards are met. Assists in developing processes to maximize safety, quality, productivity and stewardship. Assists in developing major goals to support broad functional objectives. Promotes an environment built on the following principles: Critical strategic objectives tied to breakthrough and/or disruptive market opportunities A dedicated organizational model based on entrepreneurial spirit A strong sense of urgency driven by the importance of "Just in Time" Empowered teams with a high level of autonomy within the framework Main Position Responsibilities
Foster a team environment of strong communication, collaboration, and willingness to challenge the status quo Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development to achieve company goals Foster a culture of openness, high trust, and continuous learning Drive overall plant operations, including finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, human resources, and information systems Develop a culture of high trust, clear metrics, leading indicators, ownership, and accountability Align objectives within each function to achieve business goals in safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and people development Observe 24/7 daily operations to ensure facility performance aligns with business objectives in safety, quality, productivity, and people development Coordinate plant activities with the General Manager and department managers to accomplish manufacturing objectives and instill accountability Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met and technical objectives are achieved with roadblocks resolved promptly Lead 20–30 employees (salary), strategic partners, and suppliers Employee Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent 7+ years manufacturing experience with 5 years of operations leadership Experience in change management, process improvement and optimization Ability to lead with trust and a commitment to growth for self and others Effective communication at all levels—from shop floor to executive leadership Willing to be accessible 24/7 and during holidays to support the facility Leadership attributes: high drive, willingness to challenge the status quo, accountability, adaptability under uncertainty, and a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude Strong ability to build trust and a collaborative team environment Seniority level
