CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations through study abroad and international exchange experiences that help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and multi-cultural world. Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) is a global leader in international education, administering programs for over 30,000 international students annually and supporting private foundation scholarships. CIEE administers programs on behalf of the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation (BAFF). Established in 2010, BAFF promotes U.S.-Baltic ties through education and exchange programs, offering fellowships and alumni opportunities to enhance economic growth and democratic values. The BAFF mission is to "deepen the ties between and among Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United States through programs of education and exchange centering on economic growth and democratic values". The successful candidate will be employed by CIEE and will collaborate with Baltic and U.S. staff to achieve position objectives for BAFF Alumni. Why work with us

The Senior Alumni Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with the BAFF Alumni Council, Baltic and U.S. - based staff to execute initiatives to engage a growing BAFF community. Working with CIEE, BAFF staff, and the staff BAFF Alumni Council, whose members include BAFF Board of Directors and appointed alumni representatives of various BAFF alumni constituencies, the coordinator will collaborate on alumni engagement strategy and programs, events, tools, and activaties design and execution. The position will offer the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders to intentionally connect BAFF alumni and deepen their commitment to achieving the BAFF mission in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the U.S. What you’ll do
Monitor alumni engagementandobjectivesto aid the Alumni Council indevelopingAlumni Council’sactionplanand budgetto meet Alumni Council’s annual and long-termgoals, aligned with the implementation of alumni engagement strategy in collaboration with Baltic and U.S.- based CIEE Staff. Collaborate with Baltic and U.S. - based CIEE staff and the Alumni Council to develop and manage BAFF social media across a variety of platforms, including campaign development and assessment. Analyze the efficacy of the communication strategy. Manage systems and processes that will directly support alumni in building relationships with each other and the broader community. Facilitate the organization and scheduling of Alumni Council events and meetings. Prepare notes and minutes of Alumni Council meetings. Disseminate notes/minutesof Alumni Council meetings. Collaborate on the development and management of Alumni Council data platforms. Maintain communication with alumni, taking care to engage alumni representing various constituencies and interests. Monitor the effectiveness of alumni programs, events, tools, and other initiatives, identify problems, and recommend improvements. Collaborate with Baltic and U.S. based CIEE staff and the Alumni Council to maintain communication and networking with and amongst alumni, taking care to engage alumni representing variousconstituencies. Collaborate with Baltic and U.S. based CIEE staff to manage logistics, including required clerical tasks, and provide other support as needed to ensure the successful implementation of events, activities, and programs. Collaborate with Baltic and U.S. based CIEE staffand the Alumni Council to manage the BAFF alumni data platforms. Proactively represents the interests of BAFF Alumni to CIEE and BAFF leadership (as appropriate). Work closely with the in-region Program Director, CIEE Program Directors, and Alumni Council leadership, contributing to application review, orientation and other program activities as needed.
