Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal productions; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; guide peers and respond to customer needs; assist customers per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; execute basics at a high level; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply appropriate action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and integrate these in business processes.
