Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will also wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and adapts to the needs of the business. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understands production planning; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to inform production, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; uses digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and supports customer needs per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service; executes basics at a high level; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; uses the Open Door Policy; applies these in business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; identifies opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback.
