Job Title: Senior Sales Associate

Primary Purpose The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to consistently achieve sales goals, develop strong product knowledge across all categories, and deliver exemplary customer service that embodies the Kate Spade experience. They will build personal connections with guests through effective selling skills.

Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture.

Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to initiate business‑driving events in store.

Building Brand Equity

Understands and communicates the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.

Builds strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador.

Communicates client feedback to Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate client service and sales.

Adheres to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.

Operational Excellence

Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.

Supports daily store operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2‑3 years in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Strong communication skills.

Proven ability and contribution to an elevated selling culture.

Elevated sense of personal style.

Physical requirements: Availability to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends; standing for extended periods; safely lifting boxes up to 50 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders.

Compensations & Benefits Base Pay Range: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour.
