Assistant Project Manager- Education role at STV in New Jersey. The position involves supporting PM/CM activities for K-12 and Higher Education projects, including coordination across project teams and development of project deliverables, schedules, and budgets. Responsibilities
Organize cross-functional activities and coordinate project work efforts for completion (project deliverables, schedule, budget). Manage and direct the development of proposals, project initiation, project execution/control, and project closeout for construction projects. Manage project budgets, extra work requests, and invoicing. Participate in project-specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations for successful project selection. Plan complete project execution and develop the project manual. Work with Senior Managers to schedule and monitor manpower against the project budget and spending, and manage scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, procurement, and risk elements to optimize client service and fiscal responsibility. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in K-12 and/or Higher Education construction, with project experience starting from $20M. Ability to read and review project contract documents to determine scope and deliverables. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; good verbal and written communication skills. Experience with BIM, P6, Procore, or E-builder is a plus. LEED, DBIA, PMP, CCM, RA, PE a plus but not required. Formal training in project management is preferred. Compensation
Compensation Range: $71,981.92 - $95,975.90 Benefits
