Job Description

ProSidian Seeks an Operations Oversight Specialist [DOE0091090] for Program Support on an Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent, generally located across the CONUS - Richland, Washington. Across The Pacific Northwest Region supporting DOE EM Hanford, a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.

We seek Operations Oversight Specialist [DOE0091090] candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Oversight And General Support Services Under Job Task Category 05 Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, & Quality (AMSE/AMSQ) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - General Support Services (GSS) For Hanford Field Office (HFO). ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Overview Provide services and support as an Operations Oversight Specialist (GSS) for the Hanford Field Office (HFO) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy – Environmental Management, Hanford Field Office (DOE-EM / HFO) | DOE – Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC), Cincinnati, OH. Generally located in CONUS - Richland, Washington and across the Pacific Northwest Region.

Safety, environment, and quality services ensure compliance, protect workers, and advance Hanford’s cleanup mission success.

Responsibilities and Duties

Operations Oversight Specialist for General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office (HFO).

Conduct operations surveillances, review logs, coordinate readiness reviews, and escalate safety concerns.

Provide services and support for Program Office #05 Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, & Quality (AMSE/AMSQ) under Job Task 05.02 – Operations Oversight Specialist with Support Functions for Electrical, Facility Representative, Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Safety, Training, Environmental/Regulatory, Safety and Security Enforcement, Nuclear Safety, Criticality Safety, Engineering (Radiological Protection, Structural, Quality Assurance, Fire Protection), and Technical & Regulatory Support Services across the Hanford Field Office (HFO).

Ensure operational readiness and compliance through assessments, documentation, communication, and administrative support for Hanford Tank Farms and the Waste Treatment & Immobilization Plant.

Contribute to safety and efficiency of operations at the Hanford site through detailed assessments, effective communication, and strategic oversight.

Support a team size with approximately 7 FTEs for this engagement; work location primarily in the Pacific Northwest Region (Richland, WA).

Qualifications Desired Qualifications

For Operations Oversight Specialist [DOE0091090] (DOE0091090) Candidates:

7–10+ years of DOE operations oversight; nuclear/industrial facilities preferred.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

BS Engineering/Science or equivalent. 7–10+ years DOE operations oversight; nuclear/industrial facilities preferred.

Includes operations oversight, procedure review, and reporting.

Judgment, independence, field presence.

Ancillary Details

Document and track DOE oversight findings.

Functional attributes include Operations oversight with various supporting responsibilities; staffing levels may vary +/-15%.

Travel: Travel as coordinated and approved in writing by the CO in advance per Federal Travel Regulations.

Security: ProSidian personnel may require Facility Clearance and DOE clearance where applicable.

Place of Performance: Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, WA; on-site with some remote support as approved.

Government-Furnished Resources: Office space, computers, and software provided on-site; performance mainly on-site with some remote work.

Other Details Field-based role requiring PPE.
