Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Chief, Budgets Management, the incumbent will assist with the development and management of the District's Personal Service and Operating Expense budgets. The incumbent will update, monitor, maintain, and report on budgetary information by program for various Divisions within the District. The Budget Officer is responsible for District Position Management, monitoring positions and movement to ensure no loss of positions to the District; updates District Organizational Charts and reconciles positions on a monthly basis.
Eligibility and Qualifications Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst exam or the Staff Services Analyst exam. For those lacking current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, voluntary demotion) or who will be new to state civil services, you must be on the state examination list. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. Minimum Qualifications are described in the Classification Specification.
