Responsibilities
Supports improvement initiatives generated by the CI2 Accelerator program.
Applies expertise in quality standards and best practices, including CMMI for Development, AS9100, and ISO 9001.
Conducts root‑cause analysis and develops corrective actions, ensures process compliance, and performs quality inspections.
Assists in data collection and analysis to pinpoint improvement opportunities and identifies, develops, and tracks risk mitigation plans.
Contributes to continuous improvement efforts across various aspects of products and deliverables, working under the guidance of senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or 4 additional years of experience may be exchanged in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of experience with 2+ years of position relevant experience.
Experience including CMMI for Development and Services, ISO 9000, root‑cause analysis and process auditing.
Experience supporting applicable quality standards and best practices, including Lean principles and Six Sigma methodology.
Familiarity with CMMI for Development and Services, ISO 9000, root‑cause analysis, and process auditing.
Desired Qualifications
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), and ITIL Foundation certificate.
Quality & Process Improvement Certified CMMI Associate – Information System Audit and Control Association, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) – American Society of Quality (ASQ), and Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt – SixSigma.US.
Quality Management Systems AS9100 Rev D Requirements and Internal Auditor Training, ISO 14001:2015 Requirements, and ISO 9001:2015 Requirements and Internal Auditor Training.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
