Full-Time Nanny in Tribeca
Location: Tribeca, New York
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am or 9am – 5pm
Child’s age at start: Approximately 2 months old
Ideal start date: November
Job Overview This full‑time nanny position involves caring for a 2‑month‑old infant in a two‑story Tribeca home. Responsibilities include supporting all aspects of the child’s early development, maintaining daily routines, and communicating with parents.
Responsibilities
Planning and facilitating age‑appropriate, enriching, and engaging activities
Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
Bottle feedings, keeping bottles and other equipment clean and sterilized
Maintaining the child’s sleeping and eating schedule
Introducing solids and preparing meals for the child, and helping the child reach other milestones
Keeping the child’s room and the shared spaces in the home clean and tidy
Taking the child on walks, tummy time, and reading to the child
Maintaining a daily parent communication log via the family’s preferred method (shared app or group chat)
Managing the child’s laundry and keeping the nursery and main living areas tidy and sanitized
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, values integrity, and brings a thoughtful, education‑forward approach to childcare. This role calls for someone who engages with children intentionally – supporting cognitive, physical, and emotional development through structured play, communication, and daily routines that build early skills in motor coordination, language, and conceptual thinking. Candidates should be safety‑conscious, physically capable of navigating stairs in a two‑story home while caring for a young child, and tech‑savvy enough to log daily updates for the parents. A strong candidate will also be data‑minded and able to observe patterns, track progress, and offer feedback on how to further support the child’s growth. This family values early moral education (honesty, self‑discipline, integrity), independent thinking, and a growth mindset and seeks a nanny who reflects those values.
