Overview
Virginia Western Community College is hiring a part-time Spanish Adjunct Faculty in the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (LASS). Responsibilities
Teach Spanish courses as assigned; prepare syllabi and examinations; implement learning strategies and assessments. Develop curriculum and learning materials; work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds. May perform other duties as assigned; may assist the agency or state government in case of emergency. Qualifications
Must possess a Master’s degree (in any field) with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish courses. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to create syllabi, exams, and assessments; ability to teach diverse learners. Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Details
