Role Summary: The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents TireHub professionally in all customer interactions and maintains safe driving practices, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong customer relationships. Compensation and Schedule:
Starting wage of $21.50 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over the first year. Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours. Roles and Responsibilities: Distribute tasks across General Warehousing, Delivery Services, and Vehicle Maintenance; adjust allocations as needed. Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires for transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans). Follow TireHub safety standards for packing, labeling, and palletizing orders; position them in designated locations. Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks with safety adherence. Participate in cycle counts and inventory procedures; label and tally as required. Collect payments from customers on COD transactions. Maintain clean and well-kept vehicles; conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report issues. Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly. Ensure compliance with TireHub policies and participate in ongoing training. Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisors or leadership. Qualifications At least 1 year of general work experience. Valid driver’s license; minimum 2 years driving history (license valid, not a permit). Must be 19 years or older. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push/move tires up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance. Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting; multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Efficiently load/unload and position tires; work up to 35 feet above ground; forklift capable for up to 8 hours/day. Familiarity with manifest, GPS, and navigation systems; valid forklift certification. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions Ability to lift/move tires up to 50 lbs or more; stand, walk, bend, crawl, climb as required. May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment. Various vision requirements; operate in non-climate-controlled warehouses or customer sites. Extended day/evening/weekend work may be required; possible night driving or inclement weather. Physical safety constraints: should meet equipment specifications; accommodating ADA considerations as needed.
