Job description Role Overview The Roofing Project Manager leads production operations from project handoff through final walk-through. This position supervises crews, manages resources, resolves field issues, and maintains high client satisfaction. Leadership accountability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and hold production teams accountable to safety, quality standards, job timelines, and company processes
Ensure correct materials are ordered, delivered, and staged for installation; promptly address shortages or quality issues
Manage change orders including identification, pricing, documentation, and owner approval prior to execution
Serve as primary client liaison during production with daily status updates, responsive communication, and proactive expectation management
Perform routine site visits to verify workmanship, provide direction, and remove barriers such as coordination for HVAC or solar panel detach-and-reset (D&R)
Resolve field concerns swiftly with a focus on communication, professionalism, and client satisfactionEnsure accurate documentation within CRM including progress tracking, change orders, photos, and closeout requirements \ Support final inspection, punch list completion, and project closeout
Foster positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors while upholding performance expectations
Qualifications
Proven experience in roofing project management or a closely related construction discipline
Strong leadership attributes with the ability to set expectations and enforce accountability fairly
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to interpret roofing scopes, construction drawings, and manufacturer installation requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Comfortable with heights, ladders, and onsite physical demands
Proficiency with digital project management or CRM systems
Compensation and Benefits $72,000.00 Salary with 2% Commission on Change Orders
