Overview
Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block. You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, leading customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. This role starts with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transitions to full-time January–April, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person and not remote. Responsibilities
Lead and develop associates across three tax offices Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with the Associate Relations Center Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to associates Create staff schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management Travel between offices as required Prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment Qualifications and Requirements
People management experience with ability to grow and develop associates Ability to execute growth plans and foster a growth culture Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset Computer proficiency in MS Office Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns) Why Work for Us
