A leading commercial contracting firm specializing in interior systems, flooring, and specialty construction seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance daily operations across multiple business functions. The role is hands‑on, involving coordination across project management, estimating, field production, and logistics. Candidates should be process‑driven leaders who thrive on accountability, collaboration, and delivering results.

You’ll be responsible for aligning people, projects, and performance to ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and profitably—while elevating client satisfaction and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage project management, estimating, production, and warehouse operations.

Establish operational standards for performance, scheduling, and quality assurance.

Partner with leadership to forecast resource needs and align team capacity with workload.

Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement and cost‑control initiatives.

Monitor project and financial metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

Foster a culture of accountability, mentorship, and professional growth.

Promote and enforce strong safety practices across all active projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive management experience in commercial construction, interiors, or specialty contracting.

Proven success managing cross‑functional teams and overseeing project operations.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent field experience.
