As a key member of our Albuquerque team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects – planning, directing, monitoring, and/or delivering all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. As Project Manager, you will lead a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. You will have direct access to Jacobs’ well-known, vast network of technical specialists and senior project managers to support your success and career advancement. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Here’s what you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New Mexico, or the ability to obtain within 1 year
Requiring a minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry with an emphasis in varied range of wastewater, water treatment, or conveyance related projects, and experience in managing projects.

Ability to serve as the technical liaison/leader between the project owner and the design team
Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills that can be combined with the significant resources that we have available across Jacobs to gain market share
Strong technical skills in water or wastewater engineering and project management are required.
An understanding of the administrative, contractual, financial and business aspects of operations is required.
Strong writing skills, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills are desired.
