Provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. Serve as the front-line manager to develop tax office associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives. Act as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates and support their knowledge development. Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information, and create associate work schedules with accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Train and coach associates to execute Service Standards, recognizing outstanding contributions and maintaining quality standards. Prepare tax returns as required and manage client service concerns, ensuring proper scheduling and conflict resolution. Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. What you’ll bring to the team

Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, develop local partnerships, and manage community involvement. Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Flexible work schedule and adaptability to business needs. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Your Expertise

Experience in customer service, shift leadership, or similar roles and experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Annual continuing education to meet IRS and state requirements, computer proficiency with MS Office. Demonstrated ability to work independently, be customer-centric, and resilient. Why work for us
