DUAL RATE SLOT SUPVERVISOR / SHIFT MANAGER

Overview
Under the direction of the Slot Shift Manager & Director, the incumbent assists Slot management in all phases of Slot Operations. Responsibilities
Monitor daily jackpot and machine malfunctions transactions for accuracy and response time. Supervise Slot attendants on the assigned shift within the assigned section. Assist in training, counseling, scheduling and evaluating Slot attendants. Handle employee and customer complaints and disputes. Promote positive customer service, safety, security and a friendly atmosphere. Ensure Slot attendants work with cashiering personnel, security officers or other Hard Rock Hotel & Casino staff in regards to jackpot payouts and exchange slips. Monitor IRS currency transaction reporting requirements. Safeguard against theft and ensure the security and integrity of all casino property. Report developments that may affect casino operations to the Slot Shift Manager or Assistant. Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations. Coordinate and participate in Slot special event functions. Promote positive public/employee relations at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility. Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Shift Manager
Enforce all departmental rules, policies, and regulations. Maintain accountability of all issued and non-issued Slot keys and equipment. Manage daily staffing levels, personnel scheduling and shift coordination. Train, evaluate, monitor employee history, and make recommendations for promotions. Ensure all Slot machines are clean and in operating condition, including bill acceptors, ticket printers and progressive meters. Maintain direct-line communication with Slot Departmental staff. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum one (1) year of Slot Attendant or Slot Technician experience preferred, or one (1) year of casino experience with prior experience as a Slot Floor Supervisor in a high-volume casino environment. Must have a KEY license or be able to obtain one. Benefits
