Job Title: Kitting & Sequencing (K&S) Team Leader Department: Production Control – K&S Reports To: Shift Supervisor Direct Reports: None Status: Onsite Hourly - Indirect Labor Shifts: B28 location – 6:30 am-3:15 pm (Days); 1 Night shift position starting at 6:30 pm - 3:15 am Monday through Friday. TMMTX OT may be required.

Job Summary

The goal of this position is to lead the shipping, cleanliness, safety, and leadership of the TMMTX shipping center. This includes all aspects of understanding parts inventory, communication for support, container inventory, picking, adhering to all shipment Standard Work Instructions (SWI), communication to carriers and release analysts at TMMTX. Understand customer expectations and escalate to Supervisors when needed.

Main Duties And Responsibilities Manage movement of resources such as team members, materials, and parts to optimize kitting and sequencing process.

Monitor order changes/revisions/removals – planning and executing necessary order adjustments in ILVS system including assigning this work for completion.

Handle day-to-day shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, packing, and inspecting products.

Separate parts/material into a single kit to be delivered to TMMTX to ensure maximum efficiency at the assembly line.

Scan all transactions using SIG to confirm accuracy of sets.

Assist in stocking products and maintaining inventory levels.

Communicate daily with customer regarding any issues or as requested by customer.

Enforce all safety and HR policies as well.

Understand and adhere to Standardized Work Instructions.

Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Coach, train, develop and engage team members to meet KPI expectations.

Provide leadership over team leads during Supervisor’s absence.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience Minimum of 6 months in order selecting or warehouse experience.

Experience in scanning against shipper’s or picking sheets.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

None

Computer Skills Use of a scanning gun or wrist scanner to scan totes coming in from the finished goods in warehouse.

Beginner to intermediate level in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and email; familiarity with web browser applications.

Basic math skills.

Analytical Or Reasoning Abilities Basic analytical, planning, and critical thinking abilities with orientation for continuous improvement.

Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Other Skills Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.

Positive, initiative-taking attitude; works well independently to achieve results.

Knowledge of ILVS (In Line Vehicle Sequencing) is a plus.

Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and resolve conflicts professionally.

Physical Requirements 100% of time on production floors; walking, standing, and related activities.

Be comfortable with lifting, squatting, and repetitive motion.

Team lift up to 50 pounds; individual lift up to 25 pounds.

Work in an environment that is climate controlled but may be exposed to heat, rain, and cold.
