to support, implement, and enrich these program offerings. Position Overview

The

Jewish School Specialist

will lead, develop, and coordinate high-impact student programs that strengthen Jewish identity, foster creativity, and encourage meaningful participation in both local and global Jewish life. This role demands creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of Jewish traditions and education. Key Areas of Responsibility

SCHAR-14 SayPro Quarterly Initiatives

Extracurricular Activities:

Design and facilitate engaging quarterly activities that align with Jewish educational values and promote student development. Community and Fellowship:

Foster school-wide initiatives to build relationships, spiritual growth, and collective identity within the Jewish community. SCHAR-14 SayPro Monthly Initiatives

Jewish Clubs and Organizations:

Support student-led Jewish clubs and youth groups that encourage leadership, learning, and service. Arts and Culture Programs:

Coordinate creative programming in traditional Jewish arts, including Hebrew calligraphy, music, and theater. Sports and Recreation:

Implement inclusive, values-driven athletics and recreation programs, balancing fun, fitness, and Jewish ethics. School Events:

Organize and enrich school events such as Shabbat dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, and tzedakah projects. Parent and Synagogue Involvement:

Build and maintain partnerships with local synagogues and families to support joint religious and educational efforts. Local and Global Outreach:

Inspire and facilitate student involvement in Jewish-led social responsibility and charitable initiatives on local and international levels. Qualifications and Skills

Required: Strong background in Jewish education, youth programming, or community engagement. Creative and confident program development and delivery skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Solid understanding of Jewish practices, holidays, and cultural heritage. Preferred: Degree in Jewish Studies, Education, Community Development, or related field. Experience working in a school, camp, synagogue, or youth organization. Ability to manage multiple programs and events simultaneously. What We Offer
