Chief Officer
to lead the strategic development and execution of our
SCHAR-14 SayPro Programs , enhancing the Jewish educational experience through a diverse range of extracurricular, cultural, and community activities. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the SCHAR-14 SayPro Program Portfolio: Oversee and expand the following initiatives: Quarterly Extracurricular Activities:
Foster enrichment opportunities that align with Jewish values and learning. Monthly Jewish Clubs and Organizations:
Guide youth engagement through clubs, youth groups, and communal projects that nurture Jewish learning and leadership. Monthly Arts and Culture Programs:
Develop and support activities in Hebrew calligraphy, Jewish music, drama, and heritage arts. Monthly Sports and Recreation:
Promote physical health and team-building through sports, honoring Jewish principles of modesty, inclusion, and community. Quarterly Community and Fellowship Initiatives:
Strengthen school-community bonds with intergenerational and inter-organizational events. Monthly School Events:
Organize Jewish holiday celebrations, Shabbat dinners, and service projects to deepen Jewish identity. Monthly Parent and Synagogue Involvement:
Foster strong partnerships with families and local synagogues. Monthly Local and Global Outreach:
Promote tikkun olam (repairing the world) through Jewish social justice and charity efforts. 2. Strategic Leadership and Administration: Develop strategic goals, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams. Ensure alignment of all programs with Jewish educational philosophy and SayPro’s mission. 3. Community Engagement & Representation: Represent SayPro at local, national, and international Jewish forums. Build strong relationships with Jewish organizations, synagogues, and community leaders. Candidate Profile:
Required Qualifications: Proven experience in Jewish education or nonprofit leadership (5+ years). Deep understanding of Jewish culture, traditions, and religious practices. Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage diverse programs and build strategic partnerships.
