Overview
Program Coordinator for the National Guard Connectedness and Relationship Education System (NG CARES) in Las Vegas, NV. Interactive Government Holdings, Inc. (IGH) is seeking a qualified individual to manage the NG CARES implementation, including planning and execution of site visits, trainings, briefings, marketing campaigns, implementation and evaluation plans. The team will work in coordination with the WRF Partnerships and Programs Branch and the NG CARES Director. The National Guard Bureau (NGB) J1 Warrior Resilience and Fitness (WRF) Division requires a contracted team to manage the NG CARES system, including planning and execution of site visits, trainings, briefings, marketing campaigns, and evaluation plans. The team will work in coordination with the WRF Partnerships and Programs Branch and the NG CARES Director. Location: Las Vegas, NV Responsibilities
Work with the Program Manager to support the successful development, implementation and ongoing delivery and operations of specified programs. Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities. Support growth and program development. Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions and maintain files and records of training attendance, completion, and evaluation. Develop and/or update program instructor guides, participant handouts, and slides. Manage communications through media relations, social media, etc. Help build positive relations within the team and external parties. Keep updated records and create reports. Meet timelines for administrative tasks, activities, and events. Collect, assimilate, and showcase data to objectively support lines of effort and resource funding. Maintain accurate data files and records to enable management to track the program’s progress/status. Create/coordinate online registration for events that require registration using Army 365 and Microsoft Forms. Attend all meetings, present trainings and reports as needed. Coordinate with internal and external networks to obtain resources for events, manuals, supplies and materials. Provide monthly documents and reports that are accurate and meet the suspense of the 1st of each month 98% of the time. Experience with the military is required and can be gained through prior or current military service, being a military family member, or service as a military family volunteer. Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for work. Work may vary; flexibility with working schedule is mandatory because it impacts the ability to support and serve military. Travel is anticipated for training (regional and national); mileage is reimbursed according to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Leadership, Organizational Development, Talent Development, Adult Learning, Instructional Performance, Human Development, or related area, and 3-5 years of related experience. A combination of experience and/or education will be considered. Exemplary skills in presenting/facilitating a wide variety of training to diverse audiences, with the ability to motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others on facilitation. Ability to work as part of a team; strong interpersonal skills. Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment. Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to produce deliverables of high quality. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle. Ability to travel up to 20% on average. Details
