Must have Masters Degree, LSW (LCSW preferred), 1 year previous experience (hospital experience preferred)
Responsibilities
Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, older adults and their significant others.
Deliver information and referral services; refer for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems related to hospitalization, illness, disability or trauma.
Provide case management & milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in the development and re-evaluation of treatment plans and work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, coordinate discharge planning.
Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical records for each client during their length of stay.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work related field OR Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
In states without required licensure, current registration with State Board is required within 3 months of hire. In states with required licensure, license required at time of hire and must be maintained.
Minimum one (1) year hospital or outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care.
Experience working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (death and dying, maternal and child care, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current preferred.
Pay Transparency Estimated compensation: $30.58 to $44.29 per hour (including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation). Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
