Department Overview
Proofpoint is looking for a high performing Sales professional to join their Named Account team selling to Enterprise Healthcare accounts (i.e., 3000‑5000 mailboxes).
We provide opportunities for networking, ongoing professional education, and career growth.
Role Overview Manage up to 20 named healthcare accounts, driving revenue growth and account expansion. Work with partner community to access white‑space accounts while upselling and cross‑selling existing customers. Sell the full Proofpoint Platform, collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, and protect customers from advanced threats and targeted attacks.
Develop account plans, identify add‑on opportunities, become a subject‑matter expert on the Proofpoint platform, and stack against the competition.

Utilize existing network, creativity, and marketing to break into new accounts and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Continued engagement with existing accounts
Meet and exceed revenue expectations
Leverage account planning to enable success
Demonstrate value via quarterly Customer Business Reviews
Strategically manage renewals and educate on the Proofpoint Roadmap
Continuously update knowledge of roadmap, new solutions, integrations, and industry developments
Maintain clean Salesforce reporting and accurate forecasting
Be a team player and contribute to overall team success
Job Requirements
5+ years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions, managing medium and large accounts
Background selling into healthcare systems, payors, or medical manufacturing
Track record of success and ability to develop complex, multi‑product, multi‑year proposals
Experience with Channel Partners and two‑tier distribution
Excellent executive‑level presentation skills and genuine curiosity about cyber security technology
Strong account planning, forecasting, and Salesforce hygiene
Ability to manage internal and external resources, coordinating competing priorities
