Location: Vernon, California
Pay: $27.00 – $33.78 per hour
Schedule: Rotating shifts (nights, weekends, and on-call as required)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, & Direct hire.

About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic/Technician/Millwright. In this hands‑on role, you’ll maintain, repair, and improve high‑capacity production and packaging equipment in a leading food manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing, packaging, and automation systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Work with industrial ovens, mixers, conveyors, proofers, and packaging lines.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
Support production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Record work using a CMMS system and follow GMP, HACCP, and safety standards.
Mentor junior technicians and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or industrial bakery maintenance.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of automation systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) – must speak, read, and understand both.
Electrical license or maintenance certification required.Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high‑heat or confined‑space environments.
Nice to Have
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs/HMIs.
Welding or fabrication skills.
Familiarity with CMMS platforms (Fiix, eMaint, SAP PM).
