Account Executive - Manufacturing Workflow Platform Build Your Career Selling Into Manufacturing I’m working with a well‑funded AI platform that is transforming how industrial and manufacturing enterprises operate. They’re looking for an Account Executive with NetSuite manufacturing experience who can leverage those relationships and domain expertise in the massive manufacturing market. If you have NetSuite background combined with manufacturing industry contacts, you’re exactly who they need. The Company My client is a growth‑stage AI company ($25M+ raised, nearly 30 employees) building the first manufacturing‑focused workflow platform. They’re working with some of the world’s most respected OEMs and industrial companies, transforming how these enterprises manage their dealer, distributor, and customer networks by turning complex product data into intelligent workflows spanning partner enablement, CPQ, and technical support. What You’ll Build You’ll own the full sales cycle with global manufacturing leaders, from qualified opportunity through close and expansion. Your territory will focus on major OEM accounts: Heavy equipment manufacturers and industrial machinery companies OEMs with complex dealer and distributor networks Manufacturing enterprises managing technical documentation and service operations Companies seeking to modernize partner enablement and support workflows You’ll be on the ground where manufacturing happens: trade shows, factory floor visits, OEM headquarters, and regional operations. This is relationship‑driven selling in an industry where trust, domain expertise, and showing up matter more than slick presentations. Manufacturing contacts and industry relationships will accelerate your success significantly. Your Day‑to‑Day Work Own your book of business and drive the entire sales motion: Manage full sales cycle from discovery through negotiation and close Represent the company at customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and trade shows Build relationships across OEM headquarters, regional ops, and dealer networks Conduct consultative product demos tailored to manufacturing workflows Help dealer partners implement and scale across their service networks Drive expansion from initial use cases (technician enablement) into adjacent workflows (RFP, CPQ) Collaborate with GTM leadership to refine messaging, pricing, and objection handling Partner with product team to provide customer feedback and market intelligence Maintain accurate forecasting and deal tracking in CRM Real pipeline ownership. Direct access to manufacturing decision‑makers. Tangible impact on how major OEMs operate. What You Need Required: 4-7 years in B2B SaaS, technology, or manufacturing sales NetSuite experience, specifically with NetSuite manufacturing implementations or environments Proven track record managing full‑cycle deals and exceeding quota Experience selling to business or technical buyers in mid‑market or enterprise segments Strong storytelling and demo capabilities; translate technical value into business impact Proficiency with sales tech and GTM AI tools to drive efficiency Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot or Attio Massive Advantage: Manufacturing or industrial industry contacts and relationships Direct experience working with NetSuite in manufacturing settings Existing relationships with OEMs, dealers, or distributors Understanding of dealer/distributor networks and how they operate Experience with technical products serving field technicians or service operations Human Skills: Consultative and relationship‑driven approach, not transactional Resilient and goal‑oriented with strong follow‑through Executive presence and excellent communication (written and verbal) Comfortable in fast‑moving startup environments Collaborative teammate who takes ownership and leads with integrity Why This Opportunity You’ll join a growing team backed by experienced operators, working with some of the world’s most respected OEMs and industrial companies. Manufacturing is a massive market undergoing AI transformation, and this company is positioned at the center of how these enterprises modernize their operations. Your success will directly shape how they scale their sales motion and expand into new manufacturing verticals. This role requires being where customers are: expect regular travel to manufacturing sites, trade shows, and industry events. You’ll work closely with GTM and product teams in a collaborative environment where your market insights directly influence company direction. Manufacturing relationships and domain expertise will set you apart and accelerate your ability to build pipeline and close deals. If you’re a consultative seller who builds lasting partnerships, understands (or wants to deeply learn) manufacturing operations, and thrives on turning conversations into closed business, this is your opportunity to help define how a breakthrough AI company goes to market in industrial and manufacturing sectors.
